Common informations about Phoenixborn

The Phoenixborn are humans who were given power by the Phoenix to protect humanity from the Chimera. Many of their magics were previously not thought possible, and it is through their magic that they are able to create creatures of their own design, called conjurations.

They were assigned locations to guard during the Great Cleansing, eradicating the Chimera and ushering humanity into a new golden age.

They consider themselves "Children of the Phoenix," and refer to each other as siblings. Despite this, their age varies greatly, from the youngest being born a few years after the Great Cleansing to the oldest being around 600 years old and still alive. The only known deaths are due to battle, and other deaths are suspected to have been in combat; none have died to "old age" or a disease. They are unable to procreate.

As time proceeded, the Phoenix desired to recombine, leading to a growing desire among the Phoenixborn to slaughter their own kind and absorb the abilities of their incinerated kin. This desire has subsided after the new Red Rains and the re-emergence of the Chimera.
